On July 19, 2020, the annual St. Mary of Carmen Society Festival had to adapt due to Covid-19 restrictions. It was the 85th celebration in Newton's Nonantum neighborhood.
On July 12, 2020, cars flooded a parking lot on Needham Street for Hope is Rising, a free drive-in concert to celebrate Black culture, with live music and a panel discussion featuring Newton Mayor Ruthanne Fuller, who discussed police reform.
On May 5, 2020, protesters posted up outside the Massachusetts State House in Boston, discontent with Gov. Baker's restrictions which are aimed at curbing the spread of the coronavirus. The protesters lobbied for the economy to reopen, demanding more freedom.
In partnership with the Lehigh@Nasdaq Center as a Media Fellow, a small team of us in San Francisco filmed, produced and edited a promo video for the Startup Academy program. While out west, we also produced a podcast series featuring Silicon Valley CEOs.
Enterprise: As student partners working with PBS39, Bethlehem's local PBS affiliate, a small crew of us shot, edited and produced a 10-minute story on Lehigh's Path to Prominence expansion program, which aired on PBS in summer 2019.
